Need Help With Logic to Control 2 Insteon Switches

I have 2 Insteon Switches that I would like to control with a single Custom Button on a Control Page. Since the switches may be physically turned on or off independently of the iOS app, I need help with some logic to manage this.

Here is how I want to the logic in Indigo 7 to work when the single custom button is pressed:

A. Both Switches OFF > Turn Both Switches ON
B. One Switch OFF > Turn Other Switch ON
C. Both Switches ON > Turn Both Switches OFF

I did try EPS Scene Toggle, but couldn't get it to do what I want. Perhaps I am just not setting it up correctly.

Thanks,

Chris

If you don't need dimming, then just create a Device Group (in the Virtual Devices interface) with both in it then control the group.

OK, had never tinkered with Virtual Devices, but I think I have it setup correctly now, and when I execute the Virtual Group ON or OFF, it sends an OFF command in both cases. I did set the checkbox to update device state before saving.

I am sure it is something obvious I am missing. See screenshots.

The Device Group "remembers" how the devices were set when you create the group and uses that as it's on value (this is mostly useful for dimmers which don't apply for you). Turn them both on, then resave in the device config dialog (be sure to check the Update all checkbox at the bottom).

OK, so now I can control the Virtual Device Group with ON & OFF, and that seems to work.

However, I haven't figured out how to do the logic in my original post.

Right now I have a Control Page button whose Server Action is to Toggle the Virtual Device Group. I was hoping I could put conditions in that action, but I can't.

So as you can imagine, the toggle is "Dumb", it doesn't follow the logic I am trying to achieve.

Switch your device group's "Group goes on" setting to "All devices" rather than "Any device".

Thanks for all the handholding, it's working well now.

Now I know how to do this sort of thing, I think it will come in really handy.
