iPad Control of my Car

I have been using Indigo in my home for years and want to extend it to controlling my car.
I am building a kit car and want to get rid of all the controls and replace them with an iPad. So I would like to know if anyone knows of an app and ad-hoc wireless controller that communicates through a wired connection to a 12V DC relay controller etc.
My iPad/phone app connects with Indigo running on a server at home (which doesn't really help). I need the "server" to run native on the iPad.
Also, I need the equivalent of a PowerLinc that connects to the iPad wirelessly that I can then use to control things like an EZIO.

Posting an update on my search.....
I ended up with a nice (if a little expensive) solution to this.
I put a MAC mini in the car with a 12V power adaptor, running Indigo 5.0.1 I've just ordered an EasyDAQ relay/DIO board which will connect via USB and can be controlled directly by Indigo 5.0.1's EasyDAQ plugins. I link to the MAC from my iPad through a custom control page. It's no-brainer simple since I'm already very comfortable with Indigo's capabilities.

For the record, the second best solution was Redeye with a Thinkflood IR-relay control board but it's output only and can't sense status. So it wasn't terribly useful.

Yikes. Sure would be nice to see some pics of your setup.

Once the EasyDAQ arrives I'll get it set up and post pix to this thread. Will take a few weeks to get it finalized.

I need to mention that the Indigo license is per server instance - so if you're running a separate server you need an additional license...

Thanks. I was aware of that but is there a discount for 2 licenses?
