Re: When is the next release of Indigo Touch?

Some of us can't take that risk. I don't have access to my home without IT.

Not true. You can access you "home" by just using a standard internet browser and the same URL you use in Indigo Touch (with the same username and password). Pretty much all the functionality that Indigo Touch has you can access via the browser, including control pages. I think the only thing missing is looking at the event logs. This even works from Safari in iOS (see screen shots below).

To be honest I am not sure what's your urgency. It's a one off warning which you can easily dismiss. If we had iOS 11 out and Indigo Touch wasn't working then I will be shouting with you. But at the moment is merely a minor inconvenience which I expect to be fixed before it becomes a problem.

We have every intention of having an updated release of Indigo Touch available before Apple discontinues support for 32 bit applications.

Re: When is the next release of Indigo Touch?

Is it just my iPad or did the latest update 10.3.1 fix something, I have removed Indigo touch regular with 3-5 days interval. Now I haven't done it for at least 2 weeks. Still plenty of free space.

Hopefully Apple fixed the caching bug...

Don't know if it related. But for some time now it takes a long time for itouch to find and connect to the indigo server locally. Through the cell phone net it is faster.

It's fine for me both ok wifi at home and via cellular data. Are you using the reflector? I noticed there is a lag when using hence I switched back to a direct connection.

I have seen on my iPhone once that the name (Indigo Touch) under the logo changed very briefly to "clearing cache" or something similar. Is that what you are referring to Jay?

I haven't seen that before, but that very well might be iOS cleaning up all the cached images. It would be fantastic if they've fixed the bug. I was just about to add a manual clear cache button to Indigo Touch (probably still will...).

Please do Matt, whenever I tweak control page images it takes a fair while for it to update on devices without removing the app and reinstalling.

Re: When is the next release of Indigo Touch?

Quick idea for next indigo touch.. pulling down on a device page forcing a status check update. Could be quite handy for a couple of troublesome devices
