Re: Post Pics of Your Control Pages HERE!

It's my wife's house.. she just lets me live here. ;)

As for the car, it's Tesla. Was driving an Infiniti a few years ago and did some math. Taking gas out of the equation, the Tesla was the same payment (and a hell of a lot more fun to drive).

While the connectivity is not through an "official API," it's one the many things I love about the car. My kids would always want to go out to the car to get things or get in before me, so I created the "unlock" button on the control panel. Also, the "pre-heat/cool" button for convenience vs firing up the Tesla iPhone app.

I'd like to add an expansion page for more car options, such as charge limits, exact temp settings, etc. Would also like to add a "Your car is not plugged in, idiot!" pop-up if it's not plugged in at 8-9pm.

I love the Sonos and Nest integration--so many thanks to the smart folks who developed those plugins! Now we just need to get Alexa into the mix.. :)

Very nice! I have a little EV that someone on here wrote a very cool plugin for, but it's now where near as advanced as the tesla. That said preheating is such an awesome thing in the winter :D. And I love the idea of a notification if I've forgotten to plug the car in!

Cool--what kind do you have? I looked at all of that was out there when I decided on this, but I needed 100+ miles of range per day and it was pretty much the only one that could do it. Plus, many of the other types (Fiat 500E, Chevy Spark, etc.) were only sold in California.

It's a Renault Zoe, one of the cheapest you can get but its still pretty nippy. The ZE services are unreliable and poorly implemented, but still good enough to be Useful. Of course being French it's spent more time in the repair shop than on the road, but that's to be expected :).

Myself and parents had Renaults for 40+ years and we don't see the same level of "Renaults always break down" as the stereotypes imply!

Yeah... But French cars have never been well known for good electrics.. And this whole thing is electric. :)

Re: Post Pics of Your Control Pages HERE!

Updated my most frequently-used Control Pages to use a common graphical theme. Makes it feel a bit more like a unified system and not such a scattered mess. The only new functionality is one additional Control Page for scheduling when to enable/disable the Vehicle Remote Start Actions. Makes it much easier to accommodate vacations and other temporary deviations from the daily routine.

Attribution: The graphical design was based mostly on the Dark Admin Panel UI Kit.

And finally, a Dashboard widget (web-clipping) for commonly used lights, door sensors, entry/exit door locks, and garage-door openers:

I especially like the dashboard widget.

I took a run at that a while back and remember that it wasn't stable for me (honestly can't remember why.)

I came here to drink milk and kick ass....and I've just finished my milk.

Impressive work, both with the functions/layout and graphic components! Did you design the graphic components yourself?

Dashboard widget - nice idea. Though I do wonder how much longer we'll have a Dashboard for.

Looking good! Glad to hear that you find the WUnderground plugin useful, too.
