$40 Hue Starter Kit today on Meh

Meh.com has 2nd generation Hue starter kits for sale today for $40. Only two bulbs, but the best deal I've ever seen on this package.

I bought two of these last time they were on Meh. They work really well, but beware that included bulbs are white-only. I didn't read the fine print, and being unfamiliar with the Hue product line at the time, didn't even realize they made non-color bulbs; a bit of a let-down which was completely my fault. As I said though, both bridges and all 4 bulbs work really well.

Hey, has anyone started with the V1 hub then moved to the V2? I'm curious if there's any advantage at all if all your Siri commands are running through HomeBridge anyway.

I can actually imagine it being a problem---would the V2 hub publish to HomeKit automatically, causing duplication in the Home App, since it already shows all those lights via HomeBridge?

I did. Gave up on Siri. Now use Alexa -> Indigo so no benefit switching to v2 for me.
