Huge discounts on Insteon plug-in Bundle

I just got an email from Smarthome - with the discount code "LIGHT17" you can get 60% (or more) off of an indoor or outdoor lighting bundle. The discount works on multiples (max qty 4) so I just got 3 of the indoors for $159 with shipping!

Indoor Bundle:
https://www.smarthome.com/insteon-indoo ... r-kit.html

1x - Insteon Remote Control Indoor Plug-in On/Off Module
1x - Insteon Remote Control Indoor Plug-In Lamp Dimmer Module
1x - Insteon 4-Scene Mini Remote Control Keypad
1x - Insteon Micro USB Charging Cable
1x - Insteon Mini Remote Control USB Power Adapter

Outdoor Bundle:
https://www.smarthome.com/insteon-outdo ... r-kit.html
Regular price: $154.95

1x - Insteon Remote Control Outdoor Plug-in On/Off Module
1x - Insteon Remote Control Indoor Plug-In Lamp Dimmer Module
1x - Insteon 4-Scene Mini Remote Control Keypad
1x - Insteon Micro USB Charging Cable
1x - Insteon Mini Remote Control USB Power Adapter

I just saved $314 on 3 of the indoor kits. I'm always needing these so this was a great buy for me!

EDIT: The deal was so good I just went back and ordered 4 of the Outdoor kits too. I had to use a different email address and do it from a different IP though. I did the Indoor Kit purchase from work, and the Outdoor kit purchase from home, using a different credit card as well and it worked fine. Woohoo!!

Exactly what are you going to do with all those "Mini Remote Keypads"? Serious question, they look neat - but are they useful?

I’ll probably map them to favorite lighting scenes and sonos favorites for the wife and 6 year old. Maybe put one in each car for quick access to some things as we leave/arrive. If not I’ll just stick ‘em on eBay and get a few bucks back.

That was very brave of you to ask....he could have found another DomoPad request.

Well, now that you mention it, it would be cool if...

Oh, good point... I need to be more careful of those comments/questions!

Maybe because I'm a first time buyer there, but my discount was MUCH higher, $105 off for each of the outdoor sets I got:

Awesome! I love the outdoor modules, I've got two that have been in the Alabama heat and humidity (and occasional snow!) for 4 years now.

Re: Huge discounts on Insteon plug-in Bundle

I bought 3 in 2008ish. One died 2 years ago but the other two are still working. The one that died was in use every night for about 6 hours. They're probably the hardiest Insteon devices I've ever owned.

Of course, I also have 3 Z-Wave which are 4-5 years old and they're also still working also though longevity may be because of the relatively infrequent use (~3 months of the year and only at night).
