Pythonista app

Maybe wrong area to post but have any of you guys tried Pythonista on your iDevices? I tried it for a project (now indigo has made me into a python entry level hacker) and it has changed my life! You can write your iPhone/iPad apps interface with restful interfaces pretty much anything in fact - it supports most Python libraries like numpy/matplotlib etc with iOS gui . You can also (with some deeper coding) access Most if not all of iOS objective C underlying calls. As always security and authentication are tricky but nothing new there.

May be a little off the indigo domo topic - but thought some of you may appreciate as I do.

PS I am not related in any way to this product.

Re: Pythonista app

Looks interesting. Might have to check it out.

Quick question - does the app support open/save from DropBox and the like?

Re: Pythonista app

The version I tried several years ago didn't. Hopefully they've added that (it was the main reason I didn't go any further with it).

Re: Pythonista app

Yes - kind of 8) there is a dropbox library (and git as well) but many people have written (and shared) front ends using them. This is the default way of sharing code.

Re: Pythonista app

I think I'm asking something different. I keep some scripts in a DropBox folder and I want to be able to load from there, make changes, and then save them.
