Private Message Pop-Up?

Is the private message received pop-up option working?

I get an email when I receive a PM but when I am on the forums there is no visible indication that you have received a PM AFAIK.
I have to check to see if one has turned up - invariably I forget to

This is indeed broken. We'll look into it as soon as we clear a few things off our desks.

Actually, it's not broken. phpbb uses popups to notify about new PMs. Most recent browsers block popups (via a setting), so unchecking that will show them again (tested on Safari and Firefox). I personally won't do that however...

I'll look at moving the count of unread PMs somewhere other than the user menu so it's a bit more obvious.
