Interface to Solar Hot Water controller - Vbus/ Ethernet

Has anyone done any work/ investigation interfacing to a Caleffi(also sold as Resol and others) Solar Hot water controller? The serial interface is Vbus and they offer an adapter to ethernet. They offer a windowz application to communicate to the controller via aforementioned adapter.
