RGB values in slider and states

To Matt / Jay

When setting the RGB values the sliders show 0-255 while the status shows 0-100

I guess in the dimmer action the input from the action (e.g. redLevel) is 0-255 while the status update (update to indigo device states) is 0-100?
But for "whiteLevel" the range is 0-100 for both?

thanks

Karl

Re: RGB values in slider and states

Indigo internally stores and shows all RGBW and brightness states with a range from 0 to 100. The macOS color picker however uses a range of 0 to 255, so Indigo scales that to its range internal range.

Re: RGB values in slider and states

got that one all worked out..

now in indigo touch it looks as if there is only brightness, no RGB settings. Is that correct -- next version or am I missing something ?

Also for the dimmer function the slider is either at 0 or at 100 % depending on the ON/Off state. I can move it to lets say 55% and the settings go through, but the slider then only reacts to the on/off state .. ==> chList.append({'key':"onOffState", 'value':True})
value between 0.. 100

Thanks

Karl

got 240 NEO pixel light strip to work. They really light up the room .. looks a bit cheesy especially in pink color and wife does not like it .. need to hide the strip behind something

Re: RGB values in slider and states

Right - we haven't released an Indigo Touch update since we released I7...

And setting RGB values may not be in the next IT release - not sure yet.
