Any way to explicitly update lastChanged on a device?

Is there a way to set a device's lastChanged property to datetime.now()? I'm trying to work around INSTEON leak sensors not updating that on heartbeat, but I don't see a way to actually make it happen from a plugin. (So that's not "my own plugin's device," it's a standard INSTEON device in this case.)

(Yes, I could instead set a plugin property of my own on the device. But I already have a plugin that reports "lastChanged too long ago" for devices, so I'd rather use that instead of adding more code.)

Cheers

There is no API to be able to accomplish that. However, we do have on our feature request / ToDo list to improve the handling of when lastChanged is update.
