[SOLVED]Arrrrrgh I'm in Indigo Hell!!!

I upgraded from 6 to 7 last week.

All went well - spent the week adding in all my cameras using the HD Foscam.

Spent a couple of days honing - fixing and installing new plug ins.

And following a reboot of my Mac this morning I am created with a warning the the version of the Indigo Client is not compatible with the Indigo Server.

WORSE - EVERYTHING I WORKED ON has gone

Vaporised

Anyone any ideas on how to restore the version 7 I had installed?

Make sure you're starting the Indigo 7 client, and not v6. V7 installs alongside v6 and does not replace/remove it.

Also if it is v7 go to /Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 7 and see if you can find a duplicate of your database file. It may be the wrong one has been loaded somehow (i think from memory it copies it into the Indigo 7/databases folder.

(Also you can check what DB you're currently using and its path by Command Clicking on the Database name at the top of the indigo DB window)

Fixed it!!

Huzzah !!

I had had Indigo autostart on boot.

And it auto started 6 not 7.

So removed Indigo 6 Autostart and replaced it with Indigo 7 Autostart.

All appears back now except the Airfoil Pro Plugin is failing has lost connection with Airfoil on the same Mac, despite cycling the plugin - will roll back to the standard Airfoil until it is fixed.

Post details of what errors you see, what you've done, what's not working exactly, etc., over in the Airfoil Forum so we can help you get to the bottom of the problem.

I was getting errors in the event logs, loads of them, kept on repeating.

This was just after I upgraded to Indigo 7 and turned on the AirFoil Pro plugin.

I permanently Deleted Speakers, and turned off the Plugin.

Just turned on the Plugin again and added the Airfoil instance and it all works now.
