Re: El Capitan -- z-troller not working

I found this also with my z-stick! I was brave and went against the recommendation of upgrading, and instantly regretted it!

I had to upgrade the serial drivers, then update the z-stick firmware, and then; found I'd lost the relationship to all the devices! - so had to define and sync them all again... :/ - I still have some door sensors to do, but they're awkward!

Someone else may of course have better advice! - so I'd hang before before getting yourself in trouble like I did! :)

Re: [SOLVED]: El Capitan -- z-troller not working

This is late, but it might be helpful to someone. I just downgraded from Mavericks to El Captain and had difficulties with Indigo. The lights didn't turn on and off according to schedule and the iOS software didn't work. Here is my solution:
  • After restarting, run Indigo (the full application)
  • From the Indigo 6 menu, select Start Local Server…
  • On the panel, toggle a checkbox to make the Restart Server button active
  • Click on Restart Server
[*]Quit Indigo if you like.
That should solve the problems.
There is a lot of software that requests internet access on restart. There are remedies involving codesign. If you can't make it work, just authorize all those popup boxes each time you restart. You don't do that often, so you can just put up with it.
I have better luck just turning off the firewall. I've never done it before, but it seems to be necessary in El Captain for the software to run.
