Just successfully added a Nanoleaf
Essentials Lightstrip to Indigo. The Essential series of bulbs are not supported by the Nanoleaf plugin, I believe.
Here's a basic description in case anyone is interested.
Deleted the lightstrip from Apple Home App, then added it to Home Assistant setup, which also has a
Skyconnect module that allows Home Assistant communication with Thread devices (and with Zigbee devices.) After that, the Nanoleaf lightstrip can be added to indigo (like Zigbee devices) using FlyingDiver's plugin,
Home Assistant Agent. (Possibly the
HassBridge plugin would also work. Haven't tried it)
Indigo allows On/Off and dim level control of the Lightstrip. Apple Home (and HA) allow that plus color changing, along with control via Siri voice commands.
